Huge congratulations for major Coaching achievement.

Today Worcester Swimming Club is celebrating with Jon Fletcher, our Assistant Head Coach, who has received his certificate confirming him being awarded his Level 3 Coaching award from the ASA.

The Level 3 award is a national programme which only a select few Coaches are accepted onto.  The award takes up to two years to complete but Jon has successfully completed his award in approximately 7 months.

Club Chairman, Simon Richards, said “We are all delighted with this early Christmas present for Jon!  He is an incredibly valuable part of the WSC team and has been achieving wonderful things with his Junior County Squad this year, including creating some Regional Champions!  This is a testament to his professionalism and growing expertise.  This year Jon was selected as one of the Coaches on the England Talent programme, another credit to him and his potential for the future.”

Worcester Swimming Club now boasts two Level 3 Coaches, Jon joining Head Coach Mark Stowe at this level, along with five Level 2 Coaches and many Level 1 Coaches. The Club prides itself on the quality of its Coaching and the quantity of high level support swimmers can expect during every session.

All of which will see the Club in a strong position as it moves to its new home at the brand new 8 lane pool at Perdiswell in January 2017.  The Club is excited for this new move and looks forward to continuing its growth and successes into 2017 and beyond.
