Our Club Championships are held every year and they usually take place over a number of sessions. All swimmers are encouraged to enter, although younger swimmers may only do so at the discretion of their coaches. All strokes and distances are swum, but you can only enter certain events dependent upon your age.
Age Groups Cups are awarded to the best swimmer in an age group.
For the 9/Over events (50m and up, all strokes) Each race is allocated FINA points depending on time. Then the best point score per category (Sprint, 100s, Form, Medley & Distance) are added together to give a total score.
- Sprint Events (50m Breaststroke, Backstroke, Butterfly or Freestyle)
- 100m Events
- Form Events (200m Backstroke, Breaststroke or Butterfly)
- Medley Events (100m, 200m, 400m Individual Medley)
- Distance Events (200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m Freestyle)
